Lighthouse privies

As shown in this 1904 photo, the privy at the St. Clair Flats Rear Range light was erected so that the entire structure hung in brackets over the edge of the crib. At least it afforded a better view when lifting the lid than most privies!

 Possibly the most beautiful privy on the Great Lakes at the Grand Island lighthouse - locally known as the "North Light."
